student in the master’s program in Nursing Education
at the University of
Minnesota School of Nursing. The program started in
September 1998 and will be through in May 2000.
Currently, I have finished working on the analysis stage
of my research and now I am writing my Master’s
thesis. The topic is: Teachers and Students Perceptions
of the Characteristics of the Effective Clinical Teacher
in the Gaza Strip. You can read the Abstract of my research.

instructor for Pediatric Nursing course students, in
1997-1998 held in cooperation between the Palestinian
ministry of health, Al-Quds University, and Medical Aid
for Palestinians (MAP-UK).
In-service
Education coordinator at Shifa Hospital between
1995-1997. This position was voluntary and included
various educational activities and workshops within the
hospital setting. These activities aimed at improving the
quality of nursing care at Shifa Hospital in Gaza.

Med/surg., ER, and NICU, between 1995-1998.

Skills:
I
have good experience with computers (both PC and Macs)
and deal with them comfortably. I use Windows98 in my
personal computer.

am familiar with different computer applications such as,
Microsoft Office and databases.

have had good experience in Statistical Analysis
programs, such as Epi-Info and SPSS.
